The Kairali Arts Journey Through Their Eyes

Student : Shradha Dinesh

How Kairali Changed My Life

My name is Lisa and I have been a student at Avada Dance for three years. I started dancing when I was six years old, but I had to stop when I was 12 due to a knee injury.

I was devastated and lost my confidence and passion for dance. When I was 15, I decided to give dance another try and enrolled in a beginner class at Avada Dance. It was the best decision I ever made.

“Kairali Arts Centre has been more than just a school for me — it’s been a second home. From my very first Bharatanatyam class to performing on stage at Sargolsavam, every moment here has helped me grow in confidence, discipline, and passion. The teachers at Kairali didn’t just train me in dance; they shaped my character, taught me resilience, and gave me the courage to express myself. I feel proud to be part of the Kairali family, and I know these lessons will stay with me for life.

Every practice session taught me patience, every correction made me stronger, and every applause on stage reminded me that hard work and dedication always pay off. Kairali gave me not just a skill, but a purpose — to respect tradition, to love the arts, and to always give my best. I will always cherish the memories, the friendships, and the values I gained here in Sharjah’s best music and dance school.”

My Journey: From a Beginner to Kalathilakam for 3 Years in UAE State Competitions

“I came to Kairali Arts Centre while pursuing my engineering degree, simply looking for a creative outlet. I never imagined that this decision would completely change my life. With no formal dance background, I started as a beginner in Bharatanatyam and cinematic dance. Thanks to the incredible guidance of my gurus, the structured training, and the family-like environment at Kairali, I began to grow. Every practice session taught me discipline; every correction helped me refine my movements; every stage performance at Sargolsavam built my confidence.

What began as a way to relieve stress soon became my greatest passion. The teachers at Kairali pushed me beyond my limits with kindness and expertise. With their encouragement, I took part in inter-school and state-level arts festivals across the UAE. Winning the Kalathilakam title for three consecutive years wasn’t just about trophies — it was proof that hard work, dedication, and the right mentorship can transform anyone. Kairali Arts Centre didn’t just teach me to dance. It taught me resilience, time management, and how to balance my engineering studies with my love for the arts. I will always be grateful to Kairali for helping me discover my true potential, and for making me part of a community that feels like family. It’s truly the best arts school in Sharjah for anyone who dreams of achieving something extraordinary.”

I have gained confidence and self-esteem, and I have discovered a new passion for dance. I have even advanced to intermediate and advanced classes, and I have performed in several showcases and festivals. Dancing has given me a new purpose and joy in life, and I owe it all to Avada Dance.

The Tricks, Techniques, and Support That Helped Me Master Piano

“When I first joined Kairali Arts Centre, I was excited but nervous. I thought learning the piano would be difficult and that I wouldn’t be able to keep up. But from day one, the teachers at Kairali showed me that with the right techniques and steady practice, anyone can master this beautiful instrument. They taught me simple finger exercises that built strength and flexibility, fun rhythm games that helped me keep time, and tricks like breaking down a song into small parts so it didn’t feel overwhelming.

The biggest lesson I learned was that consistency matters more than long hours. The teachers encouraged short, focused daily practice and always reminded me to enjoy the process. Their patience, encouragement, and attention to detail made all the difference. Over time, I went from struggling with simple notes to confidently performing at Sargolsavam and other stage events in Sharjah. Today, I can play complex pieces with ease, and I owe that to the amazing support at Kairali Arts Centre. If you’re looking for the best place to learn piano or keyboard in Sharjah, I can honestly say Kairali is where your musical journey should begin.”
